Everything starts as “A Good Idea at the Time”

So, much like many other true lovers and enthusiasts of the Sport of Cycling, my ambitious spirit gets the best of me. Thankfully the majority of the time, some of these impulsive decisions turn into great sources of great humor and at the least, into righteous bragging rights, and in some cases, jealousy. In my younger years of cycling, I would practically not give a second thought to riding in pretty much any conditions.  Several times I have confronted Wind, Rain, Hail, Sleet, Snow and though a little battered, no worse for the course.  I have commuted to work during the coldest day of the year and caused people to call me "Crazy", others "Brave", all comments taken as positive feedback and seen as jealousy. These days as a "responsible adult", still with that hardly containable "Unbridled" Spirit, I have softened a little.  Not because I am weak, but because I have learned.  Experience is a precious thing.
